changing schools isnt THAAAAAT bad...
everyone meets new friends sooner or later. you might feel all alone & weird at first but then you get use to it & talk to people. then they become your friends [=

I'm in the same crappy boat. I've been in Private school for the past six years, and I'm switching to public school for next year, my senior year.

Eeep. It's going to be interesting / difficult / refreshing.

^ Well, for me at least. I've been dying to leave for the past 6 years. It's a Christian private school. For once I wont have someone else's religion shoved down my throat, I'll be able to wear what I want to wear, I can choose my own classes, be allowed to drive to school, etc. Maybe "refreshing" wasnt really the right word to use. It's more like freedom.

pre-school & kindegarten - one school [this was actually a pre-6th grade school so yeah]
1st grade-3rd grade another school [moved to condo]
4th grade-half of 6th grade another school [moved again]
1/4th of 6th grade - 8th grade currently another school [moved across country]
9+ (next year i start hs)
a magnet school, and if i dont get accepted in one of those years/get kicked out, then it's off to another school again...
i've decided to go all anti-social. cant make friends well. drama is shit, so i stay out of it all.

I don't think it's THAT bad, like an end-of-the-world type of thing. I have friends who've moved places after only being there for 3 months, or friends who've moved like once a year at least 4 times in a row... they deal with it too.

I'd probably be okay-ish. I don't have a huge problem making friends, but I'd still miss my old friends like alwkfadsf.ds

I went to 2 elementary schools. 5 middle schools. and 2 high schools.
And no.. I'm not an army brat.

I absolutely hated it. I hated having to leave my friends behind. Having to start over really sucked for me.

It's kinda exciting. I mean you get to go somewhere you don't know anyone and they don't have any misconceptions or preconceived ideas about you, nor do they know if you've done anything stupidly embarrassing in the past. Not so bad, people love meeting the new kid neways.

^ I sure hope so.
I'm changing schools for my senior year... it's going to be my first time in public school since 6th grade. I'm really starting to freak out just thinking about it. sad.gif

I'd probably keep some of my old friends and make some new ones.
