color change?

I have been having a problem with a change of color.
I use Photoshop 7 and when i am done making a design and i upload it the color fades & changes does anyone know why?
here are the examples
the picture in photoshop photoshop pic
picture when uploaded picture when uploaded
see the difference?
i was just wondering if there was a problem or is it just my computer?

When you upload to the internet, the colors tend to change. Especially with .jpg's & .png's.

^ Actually, I've never had it happen with .pngs.. often with .gif's, though.

You may not be using web-safe colors, which is why they change when you upload them.

Really? man it used to happen all the time to me. I never use .gif's, so, i'm not too sure about those.

They're basically colors that'll appear the same in PS/psp as the internet. Some are safe, and some aren't, thus the color change.

try to not download images as jpg. it tends to lower the image quality.

Hm, same with me. (What Kristina said) PNG'S change color on me all the time.


Also, if you do save something as a GIF, make sure you do "saved optimized as..."

I don't know if that will help, but maybe it will.
