do you keep your shades open or closed?

I like keeping them closed in the winter because it keeps the heat open. on a sunny day, there's nothing like having sunlight beaming into your room. but some people told me that if you leave your shades closed all the time, then people will think you're having sex all the time. is this true?

My shades are usually closed, and pointed up instead of down.
Just to keep the sunlight out of my face in the morning, 'cause my window is right by my head when I sleep.

And just a random note:
Someone just drove down US-1 and I could hear their ultra-loud techno music from my bedroom. laugh.gif

I always have the shades open during the day and shut by night.

As for keeping your shades closed all day, well, you can just use your imagination with that one.

StanleyThePanda my bedroom is like that too.. but I never have shades on unless I am wearing my lenses.. so it's rare when I have my shades on.

I keep my BLINDS down ALL THE TIME. Only because my window is HUGE and I don't want any eyes peeking in.

My curtains are always drawn, the shades are always down, and the blinds are always shut.

The blinds are always down, as for open or closed, depends how bright it is. Usually closed though.

I always have the blinds clothes because i just kinda like my room darker.My mom doesnt like it though and shes always tryin to open them.

Moms are sooo nebby:|

Normally open during the daytime, and closed at night. Unless it's dark outside.

Note - the topic title makes me want to sing. I was singing that today too.

i keep them up when its dark and down when its sunny.. but i put them down when i'm changing of course.. and when i'm scared of people outside

My aunt keeps the shades in the living room open when it's sunny. My dad rarely opens his shades, though.

I have shutters, most of the time the top ones are open and the bottom ones are closed. At night though, I prefer them close because I like to sleep in the dark.
