Er... I'm not sure where exactly they are, but you should use a BMI chart. Just Google it.
You need to check the number of calories you need per day to stay the same weight and eat under it. Girl, if you're already skinny, stop trying to be unhealthy. |

Check your BMI (just google it), and it'll tell you if you're in the overweight range.
Working out for an hour a few times a week should be fine. Remember to eat healthy too, of course. I'm sure there are lots of topics on this... ![]() |

1500 calories doesnt sound like a very good number. Try googling a daily calorie intake calculator. Awhile back I calculated mine, and it said that I needed to consume around 1700 just to maintain my weight. If I go over that number, then I'll gain... but if I stay under that number, I'll loose weight. I'm probably a little heavier than you, so I wouldnt go by mine. Lol.
![]() It just really depends on your weight. From what I remember, I think for every pound you want to lose, you need to take away 500 calories per day. Just dont go too low, because if you do your body will go into some kind of starvation mode and freak out... and store fat. So you could be eating 500 calories, and lose weight for a little while, but then you'll come to a dead stop. That was my problem. I usually try to stay around 1000, and it seems to be working. I would assume a calculator would be most accurate, next to seeing a doctor. |

You know, there isn't an exact weight you should be according to your height and age... but as mishyerr said, you can google a BMI chart for a reference. Here's my take on it: Don't try so hard to watch your calories. Instead, start exercizing daily; start off by running a comfortable distance 4 or 5 times a week, and then increase the distance gradually each week. This will get you fit. ;) Meanwhile, try to avoid junk food; snack on healthy stuff instead. If you find your BMI is over the healthy range or you are very uncomfortable with your weight, you may want to talk to your parents about seeing a doctor. However, the thought of a 13 year old dieting or watching their calories makes me pretty uncomfortable... so I'll advise you to not worry about your weight too much. Think about getting more fit and strong rather than getting skinny. |

^ 3 minutes. D: *tinaface sound*
How hard are you exercising? You can do it properly for an hour and loose weigh, and vice versa. And like others mentioned above, use a BMI calculator. ![]() |

my dad started running about two years ago.
he runs 4 miles in half an hour non-stop. and immediately he lost about ten pounds. since he began running, he lost about 30 pounds. so my suggestion is to start running. running is a great exercise, which helps with both mental AND physical health. it's also very fun if you run on treadmills at the gym, because then you can watch tv AND run at the same time. =) oh yeah, and when you say you work out, what do you normally do? can you please describe your typical work out for further suggestions? |
