Do you think cb is getting "overcrowded" in the forums? Do you think it's a good thing or a bad thing?

Overcrowded? Nah - there's tons of threads to post on...I don't think it's overcrowded at all. Hmm...I would think it's a good thing because the community is growing, and it shows that we appeal to many people.

what i mean...is there is something about blogring...and a lot of them will be coming over here. I guess we could think of it as a good thing...or is it just last resort =/ we have been rivals and all...do you think everyone will get along if they all come...i guess i should have rephrased that

Well, there's only a few people from createblog and a few from blogring that actually dislike each other. There's many others that would come in and just be regular members and not say anything. If there are others that just come here to be mean, then the moderators, such as myself, will deal with it. _smile.gif *Pats your head* Don't worry, there's nothing to fear.

well, i dont think it's overscrowded... i mean, theres alot of people, just there could be more. the only thing i am a bit sad about is that i miss the old createblog or xangans, when it was like this small little village of a few people. wink.gif keke

but right now, i guess i am a bit overwhemled with the many posts, esp some that are spam blink.gif esp since i agree that i spam alot as well. im a bad mod. cry.gif

true, wacoon.

i have never even been to blogring... is it not the same as here? i don't understand.... why would people come over here all of the sudden?

it must be the colors... yes that's it the colors on createblog.com are so friendly....

or maybe it's people like the mods who make us feel so darn special :)

I think that since it growing it'd be good, right? That means the sites getting around to more and more people. But then again, even though I'm new, there do seem to be a lot of those AM I UGLY or rate the person above you threads and it's kinda annoying because I logged in here so no one could ever know the real me (hence, no pic) so why would you post things like that for others to rate? Kind of pointless. Kathleen has her pic because...she's Kathleen. I don't have one becuase I am me. So don't rate me, it's stupid. pinch.gif

I think the more members cB has the better. However, it's the members who do not contribute to the forum with any meaningful posts that make things seem so... overcrowded.

So really, the only thing overcrowding this community are people who spam us with funny/stupid topics and one/two word replies...

CB Overcrowded... nope. It just seems like it with all of these repeated and spamed-up topics. Now if someone would use the search button and write more than an incomplete sentence, It won't be as overwelming.

... [haha] Weird, this is coming from a n00bie. [grin]

Yes, exactly.. 2 things to add
1. you spelt "overwhelming" and "spammed" incorrectly
2. like you said.. too many of the topics are getting old, repeated, dunno about the spam though.. hm.. mods should be able to delete repeated topics.. instead of just lock them..

there should be another member group for elites and forums that are locked except for them! except i wouldn't really like it since i'm not "elite." at least not yet....

i don't think cb is that overcrowded... maybe cause i just joined recently. i've never seen it any other way, and i've gotten used to it being like this.

but blogring is... scary. cb is definitely more happy with the colors and the people. and when you post a skin it says it's done by you, and you can edit it still. laugh.gif i don't like how on blogring you can only edit a post for about a minute then it expires. that's scary. and everything's hard to find... and the colors are scary and it's very heavy to load... but cb is very light and it makes me feel like i'm floating! hehe. everything's so pretty.

i'm done!

I don't think there are enough catagories... I mean... each forum is FILLED with topics and it's extremely hard to find a topic! ~_~

In the top right corner, under your name and "log out", there's a button called "search"; try it laugh.gif

you guys should delete accounts that are idle. it would make space.

but what if they come back and they see that their acc is gone? what if they were on a vacation? what if youre one of them?

I agree, its not like having the accounts have any harmful effects..

Nah.. I don't think it's overcrouded. There's more input and more opinions. Plus, it's a great site with tons of things to do. There's no reason for them not to come here. biggrin.gif

I've dealt with this issue before when I modded a 'mens entertainment' (read between the lines) forum. Topics spring up left and right and they seem to push the more important/interesting/insightful topics to the side. The more popular topics were 'pinned' or 'stickied' and the less populars were free to fade to black when people stopped posting in them. Also, we used VBulletin which had flood control and disabled people from posting more than once within a certain amount of time. It helped the server, the forum was easier to maintain and it increased traffic.
