I disagree with the majority. They think if your involved in oral sex, your still a virgin and haven't lost it. Well, your not a virgin dumbasses. Obviously I haven't experienced it, but I know from health and common sense. People lose their virginity by going through sex. Oral Sex is Sex. Just a different, special, and pleasing way of sex. Therefore, your not a virgin anymore. Who agrees with me? Whoever disagrees, I want you to kindly argue and point out how I'm wrong.

Jason, it's a fact that you're still a virgin if you have never experienced coitus. Regardless of participating in oral sex, if there's no vaginal intercourse, you are still a virgin.

By definition, a virgin is one who has not engaged in vaginal sexual intercourse. You've lost your virginity once and only once you have; it doesn't even have to be a pleasurable experience.

I don't get why the call it oral sex to be honest. I know you get pleasure from it but there's other things that give pleasure and don't have sex in the title.

It depends on your personal beliefs. It's not some 'fact' you can just run around screaming 'WHEN YOU SUCK MY DICK YOU LOSE YOUR VIRGINITY.'

I believe that losing your virginity happens the first time you have vaginal sex. For a girl, the first time her 'cherry pops' and for a guy, the first time he sticks his cock up a twat.

:)

Well to me oral sex and fingering doesn't count. It only counts if the actual penis was in the vagina.

No Suzette, I did not get head. I have no reason to. Head is still considered sex which in my age, is not ready for.

Why are we discussing this anyway. As if you'll ever lose your virginity, we already know your kind of women...

Literally, 'oral sex' is 'outercourse'.
Penis in Vagina sex is intercourse.

So, if you give or recieve oral, you do technically lose your virginity.
But, I personally think that a girl or boy is a virgin, until they have intercourse.

sorry, but you're not right either.

the term 'virgin' is debatable. it's a matter of personal opinion. while it seems the majority of people believe that oral sex does not declassify you as a virgin, other people believe oral sex IS sex; and therefore you lose your virginity when you take part in it.

i believe that you stay a virgin until you've had vaginal sex.
but it's just an opinion.

^ That is actually the most reasonable answer here. :) Thank you.

The definition or meaning of "virginity" has become completely clouded at this point.

I think this is a pretty good article in regards to that.

One reason why I wouldn't necessary equate the penetration of the vagina to the loss of virginity is sex, as it relates to homosexuality.

So I guess that in answer to the oral sex question, it's subjective. What do you consider a virgin?

I define virginity as a removal of ones Innocence.Regardless if it was Oral or Vaginal or even dry hummping. You arent a virgin if you arent Innocent.
I belive this as im bisexual and its not like i got a a Dagger I can shank a girl with.

But its argueable. And yes its a personal matter of opinion.

Woww a lot of you guys are retarded. you can't say that technically you arent a virgin if you have had oral sex, because thats not true. maybe some of you believe this, but thats completely different.

the fact of the matter is---TECHNICALLY, you lose your virginity when you have sexual intercourse. oral sex does not equal intercourse. thumbsup.gif

As a homosexual male, hearing that you are a virgin unless you go through vaginal intercourse sounds a bit absurd. By that definition most gay guys are virgins and that isn't the case. At all.

Does that mean you believe that masturbation means losing your virginity as well? That's a "different, special, pleasing" way of having sex with yourself.

There's also anal sex.
And 'titty-f**king.'
Are those ways to lose your virginity as well?

I personally believe that oral sex is a way of losing your virginity. I must go against the grain on this one because of my beliefs. I think its odd how at one point in history kissing and making out were unaceptible outside of marriage yet now-a-days its almost a routine for any couple. I think oral sex is that sort of thing. Its just become this new way of intimacy that was at one point looked down upon when outside of marriage, however time has changed.

There is no clear cut saying in the bible that explicitly states that oral sex takes away ones virginity. However it does say that sexual acts no matter which kind should only be done because one loves the other. This to me means marriage and full devotion to the other partner. So much devotion that one would give their life for the other person.

Oral sex may or may not keep you a virgin however i know that when I get married one day I would like it if the girl i love is as pure as I am. I figure that one day I would be willing to give my whole absolute self to a person and that the person I love would offer me that same gift. Its a way for me to be unique and thoughtful, respectful, and mature. I am not only thinking of myself, my religion, but also the future person who will love me.

Ok, I'm one of those stubborn people who still believes that oral sex is sex. I will tell ya why...

Its sexual activity. With another person...

hmmm....yeah I just view it as sex. I am not blind or an idiot I see the difference obviously! I just view it emotionally and stuff...and eh, its sex.

Sex = intercourse

Intercourse = the act of sexual procreation between a man and a woman; the man's penis is inserted into the woman's vagina and excited until orgasm and ejaculation occur

If ONLY that were so....

Unfortunately, orgasms aren't necessarily a guaranteed part of intercourse. wink.gif

I hate it when people gang up on Jason.
=/
Anyways, it's a matter of opinion.
I think oral sex isn't really sex.
Vaginal intercourse is when you loose your virginity.
But then someone, I don't remember who, brought up the point that he was gay and found it laughable that only vaginal intercourse is considered losing your virginity. So that made me think....and I still haven't come to any conclusion other than this is all a matter of opinion.

its basically a debate....the tpoic poster put his opinion down and the subsequent posters have been saying/fortifying their respective sides with or without evidence.

Either way, i do find this thread to be fruitless as the topic poster is set in his ways, therefore nullifying any growth potential he had from this topic...but hopefully someone else will learn something

Like someone said, orgasm isn't guaranteed. But it should be. It's a definition I got from an online dictionary.

Wow, I guess there isn't as much going on around here as I once thought.

^ I was joking when i posted that and I made it in reference to the definition posted above me....i guess my sarcasm doesn't show well on the internet...

anyways like someone posted before, I think that oral sex can be used as a substitute for regular(vaginal) sex, and although it doesnt make you lose your official virginity, some may still look at you differently for doing so and I think thats where the differences lie
