weird dreams??, is this normal? |

yeah well since i live far away from my parents i've been having frequent(it can come every couple of weeks or a month) startling dreams about them dying. just last night i had a dream about my mom dyin. it was terrible. it was extremely realistic. and believe me the pain is undescribably. i feltso hurt and emply and lonely and i was constantly looking at her stuffand crying in my dream. and then i woke up and i was actually crying..it was a bit scary. but youwouldn't believe how relieved i was that it was a dream. it was soooo realistic. and it was the most painful i ever felt. but like have any of you ever had dreams like this? is it normal?

Oh, I sympathize with you. I have weird dreams...I'm talkin Stephen King weird! Like I could make movies and write books off the dreams I have had.
I think its normal, if not...then...I'm with ya! If you are worried about the fact that your mom or whatever died in the dream I dont think its weird or necessarily something you should worry about...it might just be a fear you have that you dont know you have. Like a fear of losing those people that are dying... just a thought. |

maybe since your away from your parents, your afraid that they might go away. Or maybe your fearing something else thats going on in your life.

I'm glad I don't remember my dreams often, because they're usually really messed up and almost always involve someone dying. I hate the way that makes me feel. It makes me feel morbid. I wouldn't look too much into it but I wouldn't dismiss it. I've dreams about my mom dying, but she's always there for me to go downstairs and check on to make sure she's okay. If they get to the point where you just can't stand them anymore and are really disrupting you, look into somewhere you can go for help. I'm sure there's doctors that will help you with that.

i think it's a sign that you really miss them. i've had this really random experience where i had a dream my parents died, too. i was so frightened when i woke up because it was so realistic, that i was terrified that it would come to reality ... i was paranoid and upset for the rest of that day. but no, it was just a dream. nightmares are nightmares.... try not to worry too much about them. |

I used to have nightmares like that too. Once I drempt that my mom was like, stuck? in a manhole? I don't get them as much anymore, but I used to have the weirdest dreams, some that I can hardly remember. Sometimes I'd wake up and I'd just want to cry because the thought of loosing my mom was so painful. I just want to go in and hug my mom.. but she's sleeping.. haha. But yea, some can be painful.

I guess since you are so upset about being away and its a strong emotion it made the dream so vivid. I have had the same person in my dream every single night for about a month now. It's weirdd I dont understand dreams... |

I have really weird dreams. Whenever I tell my friends about them, they end up giving me strange looks wondering what I'm on.
There was a time right after I read Eclipse. I had a dream about a vampire and werewolf war. I wish I could remember all of my dreams. |

I keep having dreams of a guy i used to have a crush on in high shool. he liked me back but we never acted on it. idk its weird, cuz i havent talked to him in a long time.. he's so hott!!! lol i guess is till have a crush on him... somewhat

I've had strange dreams like that.
The first one I had was when I was really young. My Aunt Elaine died before I was born, and I dreamt that my mom, my Aunt Janet and my Aunt Elaine were all on a cliff and my Aunt Janet pushed my Aunt Elaine off the cliff. It was insanely realistic though. I also had a dream where my mom was dying, but I can't remember the details anymore. And lastly, I recently had a dream that I was at this lake that I go to every summer, and I dreamt that we were jetskiing again, but we hit this huge wake and I flew off my jetski. I was sleeping on my back, so when I was starting to wake up, I started breathing really hard through my mouth and since I was on my back, I thought I was drowning in the water. I seriously thought I was dying. I'd say these dreams are normal... even though they are freaky. It's just one of those things, dealing with fears. [In my opinion, at least]. |

i had a dream where it was the same day my dad died, and i tried saving him, but i woke up crying..
i used to have dreams of my teeth falling out by just touching them. i looked up what it meant on the internet, something about being insecure but after i read that, it never happened again. i also have this really weird dream with the crypt keeper, and hes like spinning on this green and black circle and it moves, it's really freaky. they have tons of sites on what your dreams mean and they're pretty interesting. i think weird dreams are normal, sometimes you can become someone else for a day, bad things can happen, good things.. i find it all to be good for me in a way, it helps me think about on how i'd deal with bad situations which would eventually come in the future..like death. |

Have you been often worry about your parents dying?
From what I have heard, while you sleep your mind is like a computer. It takes the things that have happened during the day and decides whether it needs to keep that information or not. If you worry about it a lot, I would guess you would dream about it more. But to answer your main question, no I have not, and I hope yours go away
