I am really depressed, and I feel like killing myself.

This should probably be in Health.

I know how you feel. I wouldn't be able to kill myself no matter how much I wanted to. Ask your mom if you can talk and tell her how you've been feeling and that you think you need treatment. Perhaps not that you want to kill yourself, though. Otherwise she'll freak out and send you to therapy, which you might need but also might not want. It's best to tell her soon. She'd want to know.

Yell it across a room, sit down and talk, print out a letter, anything. Tell her.

I'm sure it'd be understandable to keep this here for a little while; I'm sure some quick suggestions for this wouldn't hurt since this place gets more attention than Health.

I know how you feel. Depression runs in my family, and I've had plenty of issues for it. When you're depressed it's so hard to tell someone "I'm depressed"--esspecially your mom. I've told my mom. I was always worried that once I told her she'd be like "Omigosh! we need to get you help! are you going to hurt yourself! yadda yadda!" but she really wasn't. When I told her "I feel like I'm depressed" I almost started to cry because it's a hard thing to say. If you're worried about how she'll react write her a letter (that gives her time to process her thoughts and helps avoid the "omigosh" to you). Also if you need anything don't hesitate to PM me.

pills dont always help, i took some for anxiety and they made me suicidal even though i had never been suicidal, make sure you know what you take before you take it, like do research, just cause a dr. says its okay doesnt mean it is for all people, its best to have a psychologist prescribe it
