Hey all. Im Mike from NY.
im trying not to care or stress about it since shes my ex and claims not to want my help but i cant stop thinking about it. She has been dating this guy for a couple months and now she tells me they had unprotected sex and she may be pregnant. She is not even out of high school yet and has also mentioned that the cops are after him for a stolen gun or something. He has to turn himself in. Yet she claims to still love him. I dont get her. She says she doesnt want to talk about it because "all I do is put her down and tell her how stupid she is". Then she turns on the water works and cries to get to me. Im tired of running to her rescue and caring about her but i cant help it. What do I do? I'll admit I still like her and wanna get back with her but in light of these new events right now all that I wanna do is be there for her but after the fight we had over the phone tonight I doubt she even wants that. GOD what is it with girls and their fascination with Bad Boys? Does any girl want real love anymore? Or do they like being hurt and lied to? Why are women so stupid? And dont say its cause shes a dumb teenager. Most girls I know (of all ages) are like this... i need some help...thanx... |

Wow... yeah that was dumb but it was her choice to have unprotected sex with a criminal... just try and be there for her but don't push to get back together. That's a lot of excess baggage to take on.

Ah, you seem to be in a pickle. In the mist of a fight, I don't think she'll be much in the mood to accept your help either. The best thing to do now, is to show her that you'll be there to support her if she ever needs anything. Give her her space though, you don't know for sure if she is pregnant after all.

I think you should take her to a doctor and get her tested/buy her a pregnancy test.
She made the decisions on her own, so she should face the consequences. I guess all you can do is be there for her and take care of her. |

You definitley should make sure she is pregnant.
If she ends up being pregnant, do your best to be there for her. Don't jump in to a relationship, because she may end up thinking you're just there for sex, too. And, not all women are stupid. |
