Alright, what music do you listen to while you design?
And do you think it can effect the outcome of your design?

I couldn't even possible begin to name off everything I listen to..but I most certainly think it can effect my outcome. Only because i'm pathetic.

Oh, the song for the title, is from here Number 11 - You Got

I usually have music playing before I open PS, I dont pick out music to listen to while designing. I pick out music 'cause I want to listen to it. laugh.gif
But yeah, most of the time it does affect the outcome, I think.
Not that its a bad thing though (or atleast most of the time).

I adore your avatar, btw.

What I listen to while designing depends on what I'm designing and the mood of it. But yeah, music can be a great muse.

I can NOT listen to any music when I design or better yet do anything. I like being concentrated or else...my message might not get through in the design.

^ Yeah. I don't know.. sometimes I think it's bad when I listen to music while designing simply because it helps me lose track of time more easily. laugh.gif

Well, I always put my iTunes in shuffle. It's all alternative rock, R&B, hip-hop, rap, etc. (No country, hah).

Sometimes, I just go to my favorite radio site and listen from there while designing.

I think it makes my design looks different than I expected however, I might lose track of time like what Kathleen said. >.<

If i'm doing a music theme layout or something, I usually listen to the song over and over again. It helps, but if it's just something I'm making I just listen to whatever pops up on my Winamp

And you have what I'm lookin' for sweet cheeks ;-)

Anyhoo...

I listen to:
Gavin Mikhail, Avril Lavigne, Good Charlotte, Taking Back Sunday, The Rasmus, Switchfoot, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, etc.

My taste is weird...

it doesn't really effect what I'm doing, I don't think. I just need to have it on while I go it.

I haven't done one in a long time, but I used to always play OK Computer (Radiohead) when creating photo manipulations. The roller coaster of emotions in each song keeps me on my toes creatively for some reason.

I think that it does affect the outcome of design (in my experiences) because it puts me in a strange mood, sort of a trance like mood.

I listen to Jill Scott or Busta Rhymes myself when I design, unless I'm doing something for my girl. In THAT case, I listen to Lauren Hill.
