Can someone give me like a short discription on how to apply concealer? When I do it it doesn't seem to work as good as it looks for other people. Thanks

Ahh. I'm not sure if I'm doing it the best way, but oh well.
Depending on what kind you use, you'll have to figure out how much is enough for you to use on your face. I always section my face off... first I put enough for one cheek on my index finger, and do one cheek. Then I repeat the process for my other cheek. Make sure you apply it all the way from your eyes down to your chin, and all the way over to your nose. Then I do the same thing for my forehead, and chin... just not quite as much foundation. Then, you'll probably want to use the least amount on your nose... unless you have more blemishes that you want to cover up. I also put a little bit on my eyes, because I think its supposed to help with wearing eye makeup. Then powder! Lol I hope that helps. Hahah. I'm so bad at putting makeup on... so you might want to wait for someone else to respond. ![]() |

All you need to do is put it on your blemishes. You should buy it a shade lighter than your skin tone. Don't apply it like foundation, it's way too heavy for you to use it like foundation. After you apply Concealer it's a good idea to go over your face with a type of foundation (there's many different kinds out there).

pimples/blemishes: just dot a very small amount onto your blemishes and pat it in. i repeat, pat it in... don't rub it in. if something still seems wrong, most likely it's not your application that's flawed, it's the color you picked out. try to pick something very close to your skin shade for blemishes. or else, you can just pick a green concealer... since the green will offset the red.
for dark undereye circles... it gets really important to pick the right shade. depending on how bad your undereye circles are, you should get from 1-2 shades lighter than your skin tone. dot it under your eye but concentrate on the inner corner of your eyes, because that's where your circles are darkest. after you dotted it on, gently blend it in. don't tug at your eyes. |
