I recently got a new laptop and i had a lot of downloaded fonts on my old desktop that i used a lot. I don't want to download them all on my new computer because it's too time consuming and i'm really lazy, i just want to transfer them all on disks. But i can't figure out how to do it.

Is it even possible? Can someone explain to me how to do it? If not, then is there another way to get them all on my new computer? Thanks. _smile.gif

Assuming that you're using a PC, just copy your fonts folder from your pc (It should be C:\Windows\Fonts) over to your laptop. You can also just send the directory over AIM (that's how I got all of my fonts from my friend).

You can transfer them using a USB flash drive, a floppy disk, a blank disk, whatever you can transfer data with. You just have to copy the folder I specified above from your desktop onto your disk/whatever and then copy the files in that folder onto your laptop (into the same directory).

Open up windows explorer, go to c:\Windows, select the Fonts folder, ctrl+c, then open up your disk drive in another explorer window and ctrl+p.

I have the disk in the drive, but when I try to get the fonts folder in the disk drive, it says "E:\ is not accessible, incorrect function", and that's supposed the be the drive the disk is in.
