Social Networking Pet Peeves (sp?) Options

What really annoys you when it comes to social networking sites, the people on there, or even just there features. I'll start out my list

• When people share a myspace page like Jill&Jakes myspace
• Error Messages
• The sites like facebook when you cant change the layout
• When you cant add music. Or when you cant have all music paused

12 year o0ld kids that act like whorey 12 year old kids,AND THEY ADVERTISE THE LITTLE THEY HAVE ON MYSPACE.

Those kids are the ones who need their computer in the front room or better yet no computer at all.

When people who make the layout make the gigantic buttons on the top left and you gather a collection

-having a collection of icons and glittery stuff or whatever there is to "pimp" your myspace page

-myspace bulletins with "ADD _______!" "NEW PICS COMMENT THEM" and chain letters that a some scary girl might just stab you with a knife during midnight if you don't repost them.

that's one of the perks of facebook. it's better than looking at some whorish myspace layout and makes their site more appealling, in my eyes.

I tend to stay on forums, livejournal &myspace.

. People who can't spell, &don't care to.
. People who spam.
. People who can't keep up with a threads topic.
. Journals with only 2 entries per page.
. Journals with layouts created so you can't read what the actual entry is.
. Myspace profiles that have so much crap on them, that it lags you out.
. Myspace nonsense bullitens.
. A thousand comments a day, on Myspace, about concerts, band practices, comment counters, etc.

I think I'm annoyed too easily.

I actually like how Facebook doesn't let you change your layout or add music on it. I got pretty sick of really ugly, page-lagging layouts some people seemed to use for their myspaces...

Okay so here are all my MYSPACE pet peeves:
- The constant errors.
- The camera whoring. I don't mean a few pictures here and there, I mean myspace angles and such.
- The bulletins. How people still believe in chain letters, I simply can't comprehend. Then also... the bulletins screamin' spam.
- The people who add you as a friend on myspace, along with like 2394234 other people you hardly ever even talk to / know.

thats basically it for me. you have it in a nutshell.
The terrible typing is the thing that REALLY gets me though.

I hate everything else, but when anyone types like that I want to shoot myself.

Dr. Who related flamewars. Political blogs of any orientation. Photography blogs where all you see is blurry pictures of street signs taken at 2 am.

No annoyances whatsoever. In fact, the more animated glitter graphics, loud music, and neon colors that don't match, the better. The best Myspace layout would have a tiled avatar as the background image and nothing behind the text so you hafta highlight it to read it.

-People who have 30 pictures of almost the same pose... sitting in a *&^%$# corner trying to be all "emo", then sending out 10 bulletins a day requesting comments... LOSERS

-Annoying "chain letter" bulletins... No one liked them as emails... so why are you going to send them as bulletins?? You're true love isn't going to appear suddenly just from scrolling down and making a wish... You won't be stabbed... You will not wake up next to Matthew McCoughnahay for reposting a Gosh Darn myspace bulletin... So stupid...

-People who cannot use proper grammer, or mispell every word on purpose (I hate the words girlie, chica, boi, gurl, luv, ETC)

-People who's pages are incredibly, outrageously, ridiculously long due to surveys, icons, glitter words, toys, pictures, slideshows, celebrities and videos... AND... as in they have EVERYTHING possible!!... I mean, get a grip... No one in their right mind (except a stalker) is going to read ALL that stuff... and I'm tired of burning a hole in my finger from the little scroll button on the mouse... Decorate it accordingly!

-People who have 500+ friends... You don't even know that many people and this isn't a popularity contest... Geez you would think that you are still in high school... which leads me to ...

-People (mainly girls) who lie about their age... Plastering makeup on your face and squeezing into a pushup bra doesn't make you sexy if you look 13 and your profile says 18... Men may be stupid but the good ones definitely can tell... and you are only attracting pedophiles (ewww)

-People who write their blogs to start drama... Come on... Grow up!! It's ironically the people who *hate the drama* who start all the stupid &*^%

-Girls who *fall in love* with every guy and cover their profiles with crap... I guess that is a personality thing, not necessarily myspace... but girls who LOVE so and so's boyfriend one week and then jump to another guy who's basically a piece of trash off the street and post every freakin detail on their myspace... once again, no one cares! You should use some discretion...

-People who send you comments like "hey" or "just wanted to see how you were doing" and then when you actually write them a real email to see... they NEVER respond.. I mean you can tell, it's in your sent box whether you see it or not... Are you just trying to seem cool on myspace or something like you are my friend when you could care less? How hard would it be to reply?

-When your 'name' changes every day... Can't keep up...

-When you have a messy profile... or you have coding showing through... Clean it up!! If the code is showing as text then obviously it isn't working!!

-When you have about 25 views a week on your blogs but ONLY 2 replies...

I hate many things like sticky caps, couples sharing one webpage, the most annoying songs as the background music and there's no pause button to stop that annoying junk, overly-photoshopped photographs for those people with low self-esteems, super emotional people expressing their feelings on the internet (emo = everyone moaps online), people that believe in chain letters, people with flashy webpages and html that makes no sense at all; just to name a few.

Yeah i always am amazed how everyone suddenly has no confidence and low self esteem with 200 something pictures of them.
