I've never cried or had my eyes water because of a movie, book, poem, or happy emotional event.
Back in the day when I went places with people, we'd go to movies and my female friends would walk out of the theatre crying and I'd just be befuddled with them or laughing because I thought it was a funny movie. I swear I usually know what the movie's about, but for some reason I'm just not moved by that. Does anyone else feel like that way? |

Why don't you log onto ebay, go to the search field, and type in "heart."
Cause, apparently, that's what you're missing. |

Aw, you're so clever!
Perhaps you're partially right in the sense that I don't have enough of one to be miffed at the moment, but that could also be from lack of sleep... or lack of wanting to be miffed. (down) Haha, maybe I haven't gone through puberty yet then. No wait, I'm pms-ing right now. ... whoknoz |

well... i've never cried because i was happy, unless you count crying from laughing so hard?
i used to be the only girl out of my friends who wouldn't cry at the movies, too. after i hit 13 that somehow changed though. now i sob along with them. |

"lack of wanting to be miffed."
That clearly doesn't make sense (atleast, to me). You don't become sad because you want to be. And you don't become not sad because you don't want to be. Same thing with happiness. Saying "lack of wanting to be miffed" just doesn't make sense to me; unless you want to enlighten me, of course. |

Occasionally I have moods where it's kind of like I'm waiting to be annoyed.
Saying "lack of wanting to be miffed" really doesn't make that much sense... but hopefully my explanation is somewhat more comprehendable. Ruth has a midterm to take in n amount of hours, so she's getting to sleep. Goodnight! |

I cry, but not until after the lost of my mother, I guess that's made me more emotional.

I cry about everything.
It's ridiculous. Well, only because of books, or movies. It's kind of hard for anyone to make me cry, irl. |

Yeah, happens to me all the time. I just don't cry unless i'm really really sad or something, but never for a movie, book, etc.
My friend cries in a lot of things. She's really really sensitive. |

I think it just has to do with sensitivity.
I never cry during movies, or books. because I know it's false, and it didn't really happen. Unless it was non-fiction of course. |

I cried to my parent's wedding movie, I think that should count.
![]() Of course, most people have cried to Titanic. Sometimes, I cry while I read a book, but I try to avoid sad books. ![]() |

If it's a believable movie, I might tear up. I don't cry though. I don't think I've ever cried reading a book. I find it funny when people get scarred during movies, I'm usually the annoying person in the theatre laughing and making jokes about it with my friends.

^i'm the same. i'm very sensitive especially when it comes to the "suffering" of other people. i recently watched reign over me and when adam sandler talks about his lost family, i started crying. it's different from people to people. some people think i'm too sensitive about entertainment (movies/books/tv shows) because it's all fake considering it's actors and fiction. |

I cry at all kinds of things these days even adverts on tv. It's because I'm pregnant, all the hormones rushing through my body.

If I'm watching a sad movie and I can somehow relate I'll start crying.
Other then that movies and books dont really make me cry. |

I cry so easily. I cried in Bridge to Terabithia, when Sirius Black died, and in First Daugher =P |
