So my primary gave me this worksheet and it asks how longs specefic items of clothing take to dry if you handwash them and then hang them up.

Here are the items :

Jeans
Khaki Pants
Shorts
T-Shirt
Pajamas
Underwear
Socks

I don't have a lot of time to finish this. It's due the 31st at our next meeting.

I've never handwashed and dried anything before and my mom says she doesn't want me to wash them and hang them up because we'd have no place to hang them.

So I was hoping someone on cB has had to let their clothes dry by hanging them up, and if so could you give me an estimate on how long each item takes?

please and thank you.

^ Well by hand-washing im not sure.My mom hangs our wet clothes up when she takes them out our washermachine, and it depends actually on the heat temp in your house.

you could totally do this yourself. you have seven items and more than a week before its due. you can even double dry several items at once (underwear and socks).

hang them on a doorknob. or if you have a shower, the curtain rod. or if you have bars on you windows, you can hang them on that.

the point of the assignment is for YOU to find out the time, not just for you to record the information down.

Um.

It really depends on the material of the pjs and shirt and stuff.

Jeans take the longest to dry. About 2 days.

Khakis take about a day.

I can only give you the time amounts in days because I only check the clothes once a day. I can't really give you hours and stuff.

Jeans and socks will take the longest. Depends on where you hang them though.

Based on what I've done before, socks and underwear can dry overnight, or at most less than a day. On cold days, maybe a little more. If you hang your socks on those clip hangers, and not squish them together so much, they dry by the next day.

I'm not sure about the rest, since I've never done those.
