It's pretty cute. I think it would've been better if you had used the background to make the overlay, instead of having everything transparent.
But the bees are cute.  Some of them are a little too pixelated though.

I think its a cute idea. The background I don't think really fits that well with the other bees and stuff. Also perhaps use better quality images because the bees around the layout are really low quality it seems or just really distorted. Content is cute though, I think you did well for your first and you have a good amount of potential
