I hereby present three media sources:

Pravda (Truth)
The Onion
Fox News

Which one is MOST reliable and why? I vote for Pravda, cause they are Russian. Besides, their newspaper is named Truth, that's for a reason you know!! mad.gif

Ronald Reagan gave a speech where he called the Soviet Union, "the Evil Empire"... Ronald Reagan's Evil Empire refers probably to the speech.

Iono about you, Kathleen, but that sounds like a threat ohmy.gif *run*

And I must agree with Kathleen, the media (in general) is biased in someway.

Oh come on, don't be prejudiced.

TV and Movies are liberally biased. Most talk radio is conservative (as far as I know).

The Onion is a newspaper parody, so I wouldn't consider it a reliable media source.

the onion is the most unbiased news source there.

they are consistantly wrong about everything, therefore, not biased.

Except when they reported on the building of Ronald Reagan's pyramid. I'm pretty sure that was factual information.

None are unbiased, all of them have a bias and most Americans are too ignorant or lazy to investigate into the nature of the bias of their favorite news source. Here's a novel idea, instead of reading what *excerpt* of whatever speech from Condi, or Bush or Warren Beatty or Schwarzenegger or whoever said in (insert favorite news source here), why don't you go to the source itself? IE, read the speech transcript and not what the summary or commentary said. sad.gif
