I'm trying to think what kind of dress would work the best for me.
I have dark brown hair, deep green eyes, and extremely pale skin-with a pinkish tone.
What sort of color do you think would work?

Have a picture?

I say some dark jewel color, but I usually say some dark jewel color. What's the occasion?

Jewel tones would look absolutely fabulous on you. You have the perfect colouring for jewel tones, ones like emerald, darker shades of teal and violet.

don't wear anything too dark though. you said your skin is pale and dark colors with pale skin make you look sick. like everyone said though, try a medium purple color.

yellow looks marvelous with pale skin, and so do most medium-darkish colors (plum, jade green, navy blue, etc.)

actually, you sound like you have a similar complexion with Alexis Bledel. She looks great in that red.

I'd try some dark jewel tones... like dark amethyst. Deep turquoise would be really pretty too. happy.gif

nothing too dark or too bright... u said u have pale skin... some don't look right in bright colors
but medium colors work out
since your hairs brown and you have green eyes, i'm not sure how earth colors will look since there is far too many shades

My friend has green eyes and she wore this brown polka dotted dress once. She looked sooo pretty.

So I would suggest brown or like the camo green. Basically, earth colors.

Gigi is completely correct. Emerald would look gorgeous with your eyes. I also liked the suggestion of yellow, it would be unexpected but look fantastic.
