Which band is better in your opinion. Yellowcard is aight, but I think AAR are a bunch of stupid posers. Not a big fan of rock anyways, but YC has been a band I've been digging since 04.

I've never really listened to All-American Rejects, and I really like Yellowcard, so I choose Yellowcard. Even though the lead singer looks really demented.

Dee meant that they're basically some more specific form of pop punk alternative, or something of the like. Rock is too vague of a genre and specifically, its original definition was of the more "harder" variety. Is that what you meant?

I can't really say. I actually like both.

I used to absolutely dread The All American Rejects, and I loved yellow card. Overtime though, I started liking American Rejects more more as yellow card was over played. Now I find myself listening to a lot of AAR and little of yellow card

So I would say I like AAR but and not so much of Yellow Card thanks to the radio stations of my state laugh.gif

Erm... I even cited it!

Yellowcard: POP punk, Alternative
- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yellowcard

AAR: Power Pop, Rock
- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/All_american_rejects

Go Wiki! Go!
Rock's a little vague IMO. But w/e... I'll stop nit-pickin' now.

I don't really like either of them, and I don't get the hype about them.

In this case, the wikipedia entries aren't far off.

well rock falls under alot of groups...
i like All American Rejects over Yellowcards
ItsSelvy, same happen to me... except i didn't hate AAR... but yeah yellowcard got played out and i started to like AAR when i heard move along (radio= overplayed songs and bands losing fans)

AAR falls under 'Rock, power pop' (no idea what 'power pop' is)
and yellowcard falls under 'Pop punk, Alternative rock'
edit: WHIMSICAL 0NE seems to have beat me to it, lol

but yeah they aren't always right... oh well

I personally like both bands, that damn pop punk is addicting. I've seen YC in concert and that sealed the deal. They were siiiick, the violinist is muy impressivo.

Is this a joke?
I hate Yellowcard's lead singer's voice, and I kind of hope their violinist falls off stage one day. Overall, their music isn't bad, though.

AAR!
