Copyright my layouts and "Blurbs" Options

Hi Everyone,



About finished making my first MySpace layout and I have just two questions.

• How do I go about adding a simple link back to my site? You know "Layout Made By Crimson Sky Graphics" type thing. I dont 'really' care where it goes, but I'd like a way to put it into the coding so that people wont just jock it. >.> Do I jsut enter a normal basic html link code somewhere? If so, where?
• I'm trying to edit the About Me and such so that it has a background colour. I've got that working fine, but it effects the "Blurbs" title, too. Is there anyway to stop it from that? Or a way I can make the background colour go across the rest of the box, like About Me does? It looks kinda weird how it is now..

• Just simply add a normal <a href=""></a> link. If you'd like it up at the corner like most layout sites, simply use a div box. If you need help with that, do ask.
• Could you explain more on what you are trying to do? From what it looks like, where it says "blurbs" its a different colour than "about me".

• Thanks for responding so fast. I'm familiar with div layers from my Xanga layouts, but where in the code should I place it? Also, an example code would be wonderful jsut incase it's different from Xanga.

• As for the Blurbs thing. Here's an image at the bottom of this post to point out exactly what I mean if that's easier. See where the black arrow is pointing? The background colour behind Blurbs stops there, rather than continuing like the one behind About Me right below it. The yellow goes across the whole box there.
  
  Also, I'd like to be able to properly center the Blurbs text, if that's possible.

Does that make more sence? :)

Hmmm. Well, it certainlyy fixed the Blurbs problem and I'm very appreciative of that! ^_^ Only problem is it changed a couple other things I'm not as keen on.


1. The link bar at the top and bottom (near copyright) are now more compact and the bottom one is over on the side of the page. I can deal with the top compact thing, but I'd prefer the bottom links centered.

2. The title on the contact box now shows 'over' my image. I can edit the image if I need to, but can I hide it again without effecting the Blurb thing?

3. The box with my profile pic/avatar on it is now stretched with a lot of empty space around the avatar.

I hope I dont come off as being too picky. I am really happy the Blurb problem can be fixed, but does it have to effect those three things too?

Also I added another credit link for you if you need it, its the very first part of the code most people like to put them in the top left corner so I did that. You can easily erase it though.

Sorry for taking a bit to reply, been busy and unable. Code works wonderfully, thank you. I moved the div link to somewhere else, though, because part of it was hidden behind the banner. Other than that I do have one more question:

The top navagation changed size in your code, which sent the bottom nav and copyright out of alignment. I know you hid the bottom stuff (Which I appeciate) but I was just wondering whether the resizing of the navagation was what fixed the Blurbs problem or if they aren't linked? If they do effect eachother, would it make the Blurbs problem reaccur if I were to make the links slightly longer rather than squished in the center? I'd love to know for future layouts. Also, could you point out which part of the code effects the size of the navagation links specifically, please?
