You can't keep running from what you're trying to find.

I don't recommend using foundation till you're older. Use tinted moisturizer, then use concealer for any blemishes you have. It's usually a lot better for your skin since it lets it breath more and adds moisture. it's important to take care of it early. Also, tinted moisturizer blends a lot better with your skin, since it's not like paint.

I use Cosmedicine http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtm...;categoryId=B70, but it's pricey. Covergirl's True Match makeup is supposed to match 97% of skin tones.

^Well it sounds like she gave you the best piece of advice anyone could offer. I don't use makeup I don't really think its necessary and a waste of time pinch.gif But I wouldn't just use a cover up as foundation, just use a moisturizer as Angel said.

I don't see why you can't wear foundation. When you go to the store they should have shade selectors. I think the most important part is to pick a type that's right for you. It really depends on your skin type (sensitive, dry, oily, etc). There are different types for different skin types (matte, powder, compact, liquid).

I used the MAC powder foundations. They work so well, they're light and don't clog your pores. It is a little more expensive but totally worth it because it's really good quality. Plus, they match your skin tone to the right foundation colour for you if you go to one of their shops.

This is the one I use:

"Studio Fix is a powder and foundation in one that combines good coverage with ease of application. Designed to be used dry, the powder and pigments create a matte, velvety texture. It contains Silica, which helps to maintain a matte finish by absorbing oils on the skin, as well as Talc to provide a smoother, less reflective, matte finish. The talc has been milled to a microscopic size to provide a beautiful texture while allowing the skin to breathe. This product is long-wearing. It is available in a wide range of colours. It can be applied with a brush, sponge, or a powder puff."

Just go to a store and ask someone to help you. Tell them that you want to start wearing foundation and your skintype and problems, etc. They'll know what brand and kind of foundation is good for your skin ^_^
I like Clinique (which costs a little more) or Almay (which is cheaper). Both blend very well, and I'm Asian.
Also, Prescriptives can make it so it's your exact color, so you might wanna check their counter out. :]

If you want to go cheaper, L'Oreal's liquid foundation works really well. Or, I recommend MAC if you don't mind the price. You can walk into a MAC store and ask one of their employees to help you find the right one for you skin tone.
