aha. wow. this is pretty good i guess. her hair looks kinda different from the whole picture. i guess because there's no color. nice though.

Where'd you learn to do digital painting (any tutorials that you recommend)?

This is too cute! I ADORE her expression. I love the crosshatches used for shading. The only weird thing I see is that the dark brown used to shade the nose should be lower. That or the outline of the tip of the nose should be a bit to the left so that the outline actually outlines the end of the nose. Not sure if that made any sense or if I'm just being picky... Anyway, I'm looking forward to the finished product too. :D

You can use a tablet , but I dont.
Most do but you can do it with a mouse too ^.^

Whoahhhhh you use... a MOUSE?! You must be a sadist. laugh.gif Just kidding. :) I'm even more impressed now. I really like the look of this. There's this classic, old world-y feel to it, like a Shel Silverstein poem/story illustration.
