I put songs onto my iPod, and i always number every track on iTunes so that i import the album like it is, in order. But sometimes it puts a random song as track 1 even though i already labeled it as Track 6. And now it's frustrating. Anyone know how to fix this?

Does that happen when you view it through Songs or Albums?

That's not what I meant. Is it just in Songs or just in Albums or in both? If it's just a playlist, then you're gonna have to change the playlist manually or scroll over to Playlist and click it until it says 'Album by Artist'. Or maybe try Edit > Preferences > Advanced > Check off 'Keep iTunes Music folder organized'. And make sure you sync your iPod after that. |

Sorry about the misunderstanding.
It happens under Albums/Artist. It's not a playlist, and the box is already unchecked. |

Well, you're supposed to have it checked. Is it?
And double check the numbering on your songs. (CTRL and J, check off 'track number'.) Gahh, well, I'll have to check when I get on my other computer, but when you plug in your iPod, check Preferences (Under Edit or just press CTRL and ,) and play around with that stuff. |
