Uhm, well the only way your going to be able to do this on that type of layout is to either contact the original designer of that layout and find out that its okay to edit it in anyway. And if you want the original friends to show up then well your going to have to alter the coding some.
If you want a custom friend space just make a new div: CODE <div class="content" style="position: absolute; left:000px; top:000px; width:000px; height:000px; overflow: auto;"><center> CONTENT FOR DIV. </div> Change the width and height for the size of the div(scrollbox) and then change the top and left to position the div. Need any more help, feel free to ask
