Just curious. I would not want to be in a school (high school) where there are massacres of students and teachers. Just creeps the hell outta me. Considering the fact I attend a really safe school in the suburbs ..

LOL. Ghetto part of So-cal. In elementary school, there were shootings around the school and we had lock down for 2 hours. I just remembered that. And there was some guy killed in front of my school gym a few weeks ago. All this is coming back to me..

EDIT//

How ironic, Steph. We have lots of catfights here, too. It's ridiculous.

The high school I'm going to next year has had a gun shooting...

The school I'm going to right now has had a few pretty nasty catfights.

Too bad both of them are two of the best schools in the district. ermm.gif

I'm just curious on how these teens get these guns. They probably don't even have a license. Some people are afraid to even put a hand on a gun. Even a slight bit.

My school is seriously a bomb ticking..and i'm really waiting for it to explode.

We've had everything else but a gun- to my knowledge.

I would think from older friends, or maybe their parents have a gun at home. They could easily take it without their parents knowing.

Actually there was a huge threat my senior year. And I guess a student was caught on school grounds onetime with a gun in his waist after school hours. That's about it besides the fights that went on every 2 days.

too many
drug related
gang related
tourist related
'you got my girl i'm gonna stab you' related
alot happens at my school
and so much times we been in the newpaper.
most recent story is that a guy that i knew
talked bad about this gang members girlfreind.
she told him about it.
he called his backup and there was a fight
and someone video taped it.
sooner or later the fight was on youtube and
the teachers, parents and police were involved.
wasn't as serious as most cases.
pretty pathetic to me

Yeah, they bring knives and weed and alla that. I guess you can call my school "ghetto." A uncle of a student came in and disguised himself and threatened to shoot a teacher before. The high school I'm going to go to has had many fights/stabbings/shootings. ermm.gif

I go to Bronx Science, a specialized school that happens to be in the Bronx. You'd think it would be pretty safe because of the level of 'intelligence' or whatever we're supposed to have. Yet, drugs linger in every crevice of the hallways, on school ground and across the street kids smoke their cigarettes, and a little farther than that (around 30 meters away from the school) kids get blazed off of pot they bought from one of the hundreds of dealers in the school. The school has a name to uphold, and therefore is very reluctant to bring the police into any matters.

However, relating to gun violence, last year the police surrounded my school and busted a Blood who was recruiting another student and had a gun on him. Besides that, my friend bought a gun off of someone at school not too long ago. Its not uncommon anywhere if you have the right connections.

At my old school, yeah once or twice in the two years I was there. There were a lot more knives and other weapons, though.

There was either a shooting at the school I'm going to, or someone really close to here from my knowledge. We get plenty of bomb threats at schools around here, its kind of amusing to me. I suppose you just get use to them after a while perhaps.

Yeah =\
But stabbings and gang fights or riots are more common.

Kids are so stupid these days.
If you're gonna fight at all, be a man and have it flesh to flesh.

there has been gun violence in every school i have been to, even college. It's really sad and pathetic. People are just crazy. There is always some innocent person that gets hurt from it.
