What do you think of the past few years of "The Simpsons"? I think they have been awful. The show has lost its touch. It's too slow, unfunny, and completely un-risque. There's no edge to it. Are they garnering to 4 year-olds?

In 2004, Harry Sheraer himself, voice of Mister Burns, Skinner, and many others, said he thought the last 3 years had been the worst ever. I also heard a RUMOUR that Dan Castalanetta, the voice of Homer, Grampa, and others, is becoming bored with doing the voices.

Y'opinions?

Didn't the cast think they weren't getting paid enough?

I don't know.
But I'm going to watch The Simpsons Movie when it comes out this year.

I barely even watch new episodes of The Simpsons anymore, yet I always manage to catch reruns. Interesting.

Speaking of which...there haven't been any developments in the Carl/Lenny thing, have there? ;) But I recall Carl talking about a wife in one episode, so why the hinting?

Yeah, I'm gonna watch The Simpsons Movie, too. I wonder how it'll do at the box office?

The Simpsons have been around for a really long time. I can imagine that it might feel like a drag to the people who are the voices. I mean, the old simpsons are classics! I hope that the movie doesn't drag.

I don't buy/accept that. There's so much they haven't done. They could even try just being more topical. But they just try "LULLZLES, LET'S GIVE HOMER ANIOTHER JOB".
