decided to add one
well this is line art... pretty sure many of you seen this in some form or another. what is soo cool about this is that u can turn any image into line art and find more then one way to color this. heres what i did using this awesome tutorial Turn Photos of People into Line Art  i did this image a while back and now i want to share it here  DA post Geisha the original image is pink geisha 01 by ~glittercunt-stock <CB blocked the curse...  ... ok in the preview it did... i look forward seeing what yah can try

Yours came out pretty good. I've tried doing it, they were ok I guess, maybe not. But I love the way lineart turns out in the end.

My lineart either first or second can't remember:  I didn't feel like finishing it.

Yeah, the hardest thing for me is the facial features. They tend to be... delicate. And detailing the hair... it can take forever, esspecially in vectors. I've made a few decient completed vectors but I lost them when my computer crashed over summer.

This was my first finished lineart, But it was actually the second one I've ever done:

^ wow that looks amazing, the coloring is awesome
but 6-7 hours... i can't do that... i'm pretty sure i could of done more with my image... but after like 3 hours of working on something i have to like stop for a while... and with line art.. stopping isn't the best thing if ur changing the image a bit... well it aint the best thing for me... i would forget and those three hours will go to waste, lol |

I randomly decided to get into pen tool stuff and coincidently stumbled across that same tutorial - it's awesome. I'll post what I worked on when I'm done. It looks a bit odd at the moment because there's movement lineart can't express very well; it needs colouring - which I haven't learnt to do yet. But it is so fun - and addictive. Maybe it's me just getting into it but I sat and did this image for three hours straight. SO much fun.

Kara you need to teach me how to vector and do line art. I'm horrible at the two last time I tried it. It may be because I use to touch pad on my laptop for most things, maybe I should switch to a mouse.
Anyway, that looks great. I've tried doing things like these, but they never really come out looking that great. |

Oh wow, I would love to try that. But I think it would come out terribly wrong. I'm not so good with this line/vector and everything in that type of subject type of deal thinger.
