I went last year and I had a blast. (Even got to meet the Jonas Brothers!) wacko.gif I think I might be going this year as well, they have a great line up this year!

http://thebamboozle.com/

For all of you who are too lazy to find out more information on what the Bamboozle is...it's an event that takes place every year, where you can go see bands perform.

Anyone else going? or have gone in the past?

I assume you live in New Jersey?

I live in CA, and the Bamboozle Left debuted last year. But I didn't get to go because my dad was stupid and wouldn't let me. So I missed out on a really good chance. And I was dying to go. stubborn.gif

Nah, I don't live in New Jersey. (It would make it a lot easier if I did though happy.gif) Last year, took a couple of hours since I live in New York but it was worth it. Gah, hope you can come one day.

Ahh, tons of awesome bands. I'd love to see Jack's Mannequin, Relient K, The Spill Canvas, and BRAND NEW. I doubt I'll be going even though I'm just a few hours away (in New York) though. ><

I went last year too! Both days. The weather was so nice for them, except Saturday was really hot if I remember right. Def planning on going this year.

Nice! (About meeting Jonas Brothers) Didn't see them, not really into them, but I got to meet the drummer from Circa Survive because he is one of my best friend's cousin. Their fathers are brothers I believe. It was kind of funny, they were talking about Thanksgiving...

I love how Kelly Clarkson and Weird Al Yankovich are going to be there.
And how Chamillionaire/L.L. Cool J and Jay-Z might.

Lucky duck. I go to something like it called Flipside Festival.

Last year I got to meet Motion City Soundtrack (I got to hug all of them!), Silverstein (I got a picture with them!), All Time Low, Mae, Just Surrender, The Pink Spiders, Height of Fashion, Transition (Got a pic with Dan), and alot more.

Hit the Lights
Jack's Mannequin
Mae
Paramore

The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus
The Rocket Summer

I really wanna go on Saturday also, but since everyone else is going on Sunday, I wouldn't go alone. :X I want so badly for the Jonas Brothers to be there again this year.

Last year's HelloGoodbye didn't turn out as good as I had wanted it to.

I'm going to try to work it out with my parents to go as a birthday and/or Christmas present. I'm so desperate. pinch.gif

I have a couple of questions about it.
  • Is the merch expensive?
  • Is the food expensive?
  • What time does it usually end?
  • Can you seriously not bring in a camera, at all?
  • And, Can you get to meet anybody and get autographs or something?

-The merch, isn't that expensive. It depends on what you buy. The shirts are usually like 20? and the hoodies are like 30-40ish?
-The food... I don't remember seeing any food there, except for drinks. They take off the cap from your drink when you first enter.
-It ended last year at like 12
-I think you can bring cameras, cause I saw people with them
-After a bands performance and stuff, you can like go to their booths and have a little meet and greet.

I have a couple of questions about it.

Is the merch expensive?
Yeah. Most of it is. Depends what you think is expensive though, but I think you're better off buying band tees at hot topic.

Is the food expensive?
I don't remember there being any food, but I'm pretty sure its expensive as well. Have a hearty breakfast, they don't allow outside food.

What time does it usually end?
You can leave whenever but it lasted til 12 last time.

Can you seriously not bring in a camera, at all?
Phones always work. wink.gif

And, Can you get to meet anybody and get autographs or something?
Yeah, they have meet and greets. It's pretty cool.

Eh, I don't like using my phone. I tend to be picky about the photo quality. pinch.gif

I live in a bubble. My parents don't let me go to rock concerts.
Anyone ever seen Yo-Yo Ma?
....
No one? cry.gif
