The new album by Anberlin, Cities came out today. Anyone getting it, or like Anberlin? I got it, I think it's awesome and just about all of the songs are totally catchy.

I don't love Anberlin enough to buy the CD.
But my friend bought it and is letting me borrow it.
I hope it's as good as you say!

I'm a big fan of Anberlin so I'll definitely be getting this album soon.
My favorite songs from the album so far (from what I've heard) are Dismantle.Repair, Adelaid and The Unwinding Cable Car.

Anberlin sounds more ... pop? soft? than their last album, I think. But I like it. _smile.gif

I actually didn't like this album that much... but some of my friends say that every song in the album is great, and that it's awesome, etc.

I was surprised - it turned out alot better than I thought it would. I definately dont care for the new single, but I LOVE Dismantle Repair. It's like their best song everrr. throb.gif laugh.gif

For me, the album as a whole isnt quite as good as Never Take Friendship Personal. Their last cd was almost flawless from beginning to end, but this one has its weaker songs. It just seems like they're trying to be too mainstream now.

I need to cop this.

Never Take Friendship Personal is SO BOMB, though. It'll be difficult to top, and I'll be amazed if Cities does so.

Bump. Anberlin's music gets better with each new release.. not that this is very new, but it's their best, imo. The Uncanny cover is especially fantastic.

I still haven't gotten it. sad.gif Though I did listen to it in B&N, but I haven't had the money to spend on it...

I never heard of this band, Anberlin. I kind of heard some of their music and I like it.

Anyone know really really good songs from them except the ones that are already listed above...?

^ Autobahn is good, as well as Ready Fuels, Foreign Language and Paperthin Hymn. (These are all older songs though)

Generally all of their songs are pretty good. From their older albums, I really liked Naive Orleans, the cover of Love Song, A Day Late, and Audrey, Start the Revolution!
