Wow, I'm not apologizing for what I said in the thread, but I will apologize for offending you. I didn't mean to offend you, but I think you totally blew up and for no reason. It was a bit ridiculous. I have a habit of making it look like I'm a bit more worked up than I actually am, and the only reason you think that I'm worked up is the INTERNET.

First off I would like to say that there is no reason for you to be offended by my post. It seems you just went off on a whim because you have been treated like shit by certain white people. Look, I can understand how you feel. In fact I sympathize with you, but you can't flip out on me because others treated you bad. That was what the whole post was meant for. The underlying theme was supposed to be, "Due to my past experience, it's gotten hard for me to not let those experiences affect my judgment of others."

I know that the people that stole my things aren't idiots because they are black, but they have only made it more difficult for me to keep a mind set that is not racist. In saying that you’re taking everything I said out of context.

I sympathize with you over the death of your uncle and believe that those people should receive severe punishment for their crimes. I can only imagine the loss. I also sympathize with you in regards to not fitting in due to the all-white neighborhood you currently live in. I live in an inner-city all-black neighbor hood. Also, in regards to your comment about the bus route, having a bus route in a neighborhood depreciates the value of the land. Yes, it may be that the people in your neighborhood are racist, but seeing as how you instantaneously jumped to the conclusion that I was racist in my thread. Don't you think it's possible that you could be jumping to conclusions here too?

Did I ever refer to the race as a whole? No I certainly did not, and I don't know why you think I did. I was pretty sure that this, "Alright now, not all black people are bad, and I realize this.", would have given it away.

In saying that, bringing people like Keira, Carrie, and Toya into the conversation was totally uncalled for. Your only asking for help in your imaginary crusade against racism in an internet forum thread. You're also encouraging others to take the post out of context too. I know that they are black, and I respect them. Not because they are black, but because they are human. I never called them any racial slur. You should chill. It was someone of your own race who invented the comparison of "blacks and niggers" and that man is Chris Rock. Don't take your anger out on me, take it out on him. The final thing I said about hating niggers and not black people was a direct quote from Chris Rock’s most famous skit.

I don't think that this racial stuff would "piss" you off if you would just stop being so defensive about it. I understand you went through some tough times, but flipping out on every person who disagrees with your views in even the slightest way, shape, or form will not help you. If you took the time to read my post and understand it with a clear mindset I don't think you would have been pissed off at all. In fact, I'm trying not to be racist and you are criticizing me for it. A bit backward don't you think?

I'm willing to bet that being the only white male in an all-black neighborhood I get just as much discrimination as you do being a black female in an all-white neighborhood. You consistently say I don't have an open mind. Well, I think that you need to open your mind. You need to open your mind to the idea that you were wrong when you took my entire post out of context because you were so hot-headed about this racist BS. Your anger made you close minded. I thought you were open-minded/clear-headed, and that's exactly what I praised you for in the feedback thread. I guess I was wrong.

When you admit to your faults you're more likely to correct them. When I admit that not being racist can be a difficult thing when the majority of black people around you treat you like shit and hear the advice people give me like, "I mean yea you've had some pretty bad encounters with people of this race but it doesn't mean all of them are like that." I'm encouraged to keep going and treat people of every race with up most respect. You want to save a generation? Why don't you start by becoming level headed about these situations.
