Just finished watching the Outlaw Josey Wales out of the most deepest boredom, yet I didn't end up being disappointed.

It's a classically structured Clint Eastwood western, only this time it's sort of a historic revisionism effort instead of a purely fictional story. Despite the many western cliches found in the movie, it's still solid film and thoroughly enjoyable.

Watch it if you like westerns.

I watched The Omen last night. It sucked as I expected. Also, I don't think I will be renting from Hollywood Videos again seeing as how this is the second time I've gotten a movie that skips. >=|

El Milagro de P. Tinto. Although rather than watching it, I kept peeking at the TV screen everynow and then while I was busy doing some other stuff.

The movie, according to its own director, pretends to be a depiction of what he considers life to be like, as well as an attempt to give it a meaning. Under this premise I admit I have grown very scared of Javier Fresser, but I love his movie anyways.

Well, I think the subtitles took away from the movie a lot. But this is the FIRST movie I started to fall asleep during. Some fawn shows up in a little girls room and tells her to do things and he'll make her a fairy, wtf?

When A Stranger Calls. cry.gif i watched it with a whole bunch of guys and they kept scaring me! but, you can really just scare yourself with all the tension building up and you say to yourself, "what's gonna happen next?" and then BOOM! it happens when you least expect it. i really didnt think there was anyone in the house...but the fact that he was in the ceiling of the kid's room scared the crap outta me! i NEVER want to babysit AGAIN!!! _dry.gif

^ Haha, I actually laughed during that movie (no offense) I think it's just because that's the oldest cliche in the book (the book being a metaphor for culture, of course, haha).

I watched CSI: Miami last night and in the beginning it was kinda freaky because I babysit and here her parents died, but after the truth came out I was like "eh, whatever"

Is it really that bad? :(

I overheard a group of people talking about it in the cafeteria at work, and they were giving it rather good reviews although they said Nicholas Cage didn't fit in his role all too well.

Keep in mind we don't get movies in original version in Spain, too. So their opinion is in part conditioned by the translation of the dialogues.

Dogma.

I was going to watch The Godfather afterwards, but it was on T.V. so they usually edit it, and I want to experience the complete movie. (Not to mention the movie was too long for my schedule.)

Hey guys, just to keep the spam low, maybe you should eleborate or tell us about the movie. (:

I watched like.. half of Step Up. It seemed pretty good so far, and it made me want to.. dance. Too bad it was cut short. I really wanted to finish it. sad.gif

The 9th Gate, by Roman Polanski.

This film seems to be considered a minor film from a great director, however it's overall a decent thriller. It's based upon the novel "El club Dumas", by the spanish writer Arturo Pérez-Reverte, although the movie goes back and forth from the original text to Polanski's vision of the story.

That's all cool, since the book was 200 pages too long IMO >_>.

Just saw Black Snake Moan earlier tonight.
I'm not going to go into a full review, but I must say, it was rather good stuff.

Horrible, horrible, horrible movie.

Although, neat seeing the guy that played Celeborn (Galadriel's hubby in the Lord of the Rings movies). He's quite good looking.
