Okay, so I just got a call from a lady who says "Hello? Did someone at this phone number lose a cell phone? I just called the phone number that was under 'Home'" ohmy.gif I didn't even know that I had lost it. I'm going to drop by her place and pick it up; thank God that she called.

I've never met her; she's a total stranger, and she still did this. Ahhh, how I love random acts of kindness. dance.gif

I lost my cell and the person called my dad, but they didn't say their name. Other friends of mine said that my cell phone was found, but neither one of them told me who had my cell and where could I get it. I didn't even know it was lost either until my dad told me that some person called on my number to him to find out who's cell it was.

I never found it. _dry.gif

No random act of kindness towards me.

Aww, I love random acts of kindness. :) I love it when strangers hold the door for me or simply let me walk first when getting off a bus. I do the same for others.

O.O that's so nice.
I ride the train with a lot of weirdos. If I had lost my phone I'd probably never see it again.
Or someone might lure me in under the pretense of a nice old person giving me back my phone and hold me for ransom. Or rape me. Or kill me. Any combination really... ph34r.gif
Just because you're paranoid don't mean they're not after you.

Ahh, nice. XD.gif No one around here would do that, I'm sure. It's too ghetto here. I hold my phone tightly and never let it out of my site besides at home. mellow.gif

It's rare to find people like that now. Though I love it when it happens (: This one time at school I almost left my purse on a chair and left...but some guy came up to me and asked me if it was mine. It was so nice. :D

You're so lucky that a really nice person found your phone. ohmy.gif

Oooh yeah, very lucky me. A rose, hm? If my parents let me (they're mad at me in the first place for just losing my cell phone; pretty justified), I'd totally do that. I'm going to at least mail a Thank You card, (:

You're lucky =].
My friend lost her phone and she called it. This dude picked up and she said, "Hi, you have my phone." The guy was like "Haha, too bad. It's mine now, sucker!".
Lol. I suggest you give her a plate of cookies. Yummyyy.

Well, depends what kind rose, yeah? I know yellow is from friendship.

And I met her today when she gave back my phone, she seemed like a perfectly normal, kind, 20-something woman.

But people are just ass holes like that u lose your phone them people keep it or sell it. haha but in your case thats actually pretty cool I don't think alot of people would have returned a lost cell phone.

Victorian symbolism for roses :).

That was kind of her, especially taking into account how rare it probably is.. Though, honestly, I would've done the same. I remember I once let my friend borrow my cell phone for a week or two and he lost it near a pool-area. He went mad looking for it everywhere until he finally called it and some man answered and told him where it was. I was SO happy and grateful, I wish I had been there to thank him happy.gif. And it was a big phone, that people usually say 'wow' to because of its camera--so even more thankful he didn't mess around with it and keep it.

People usually never return cellphones or lost possessions. That was great of her to do that, If something like that ever happened to be, I'd thank them so much and get them a card or gift.

You're lucky to have someone give it back to you and not keep it for themselves. That was really kind of her. My friend lost her cell phone once at Knott's, i don't think she ever got it back.

Sally, I don't even have my license, much less a Mercedes. I was being sarcastic (eeek , really should've included a smiley or something to show that ermm.gif ) If I had a car, even a beat up one, I'd use it rather than take the bus everday.

Me, live on the nice side of San Jose? crazy.gif I wish, I wish.
