I would totally try to beat Mary G. Blige's record of 55 names, but I'd doubt I'd have the guts to do say it that fast and talk during the music.

Probably float up to where the stage was, and be handed the Oscar.
Smile, and look out onto all the people and lean into the mic and say the first stupid thing on my mind such as, "wow, this is heavier then it looks" [hoists oscar up a bit higher in arms].

Something around the lines of, "wow, so I wasn't expecting this at all. And especially going up against so many wonderful actresses, I mean, this is just amazing. First, I would like to thank God, he got me here in the first place. Then my mother, my best friend - elliott, my first director, all those people that believed in me, and of course my agent, and thank you for everyone on the committee [i would have no idea what i was talking about at this point], and thanks a million to [insert husband/boyfriends name], you are amazing, and i love you. And thank you to everyone out there! And is that the music? oh, ok. . . "

Public speaking terrifies me, so I'd probably say something like: "Um, this is akward. My boy is cool, mom's neat. Um, ok bye," and walk off stage.

Since they'd probably tell me in advance, I'd just list the main people. Probably not 55 names...but if I needed to thank that many, I would talk really fast! I'd start off with...my parents. Then my drama teacher or chorus teacher...then my booking manager.
