I've searched these boards and haven't really found much about flash layouts.. But I've seen a few done in myspace and I really want to try one out myself. I already know quite a bit about making div layouts.

Does anyone know of any tutorials for flash myspace layouting? Or anyone that could help me?

I do photography and graphic design, and I'm thinking that a flash layout would be really useful for all the images, promoting and such.

Thanks for reading this!

I don't really think theres a certain way of making a flash myspace layout, you just make a flash layout to what you would like to be on your myspace, simple as well...

Do you need help at just starting the layout in flash, don't know how to use flash perhaps?

ohh I didn't know that. So I can just make any layout I want in flash, and then somehow get it onto myspace? Is there a code I use for that?

I don't really know much about making layouts in flash, but I guess I can research that and learn it soon. It doesn't seem too difficult

I've already learnt div layouting, is it much harder than that?

If you make a flash template for you to put on your myspace and save it as swf file. Then once you have that and you have uploaded the swf. file on to the web and got a URL for it.

Hide your profile:

If you would like your comments visible use this:
http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=151811

Next you can put up your flash template and position in to your liking on your profile happy.gif Use this code and replace the URL with the Url to your flash template.

CODE
<style>.flashtemplate {width: 760px; height: 275px; position: absolute; top: 230px !important; margin-left: -383px; left: 50%;}</style>

<div class="flashheader">
<embed enableJSURL="false" allowScriptAccess="never" allownetworking="internal"enableJavascript="false" allowScriptAccess="never" allownetworking="internal"src="URL" width="760" height="275" quality="high" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" type="application/x-shockwave-flash"></embed>
</div>

*Make sure to change the width and height in the second half of the code to the size of your flash template. Also in the first half of the code Make sure to change the top px # and the height and width of your flash template as well. happy.gif

If you have any further questions feel free to ask, or you can PM me if you would like.

If you would like to know how to create a flash file to put on your myspace, also feel free to ask and I can look up some places you can check. wink.gif

happy.gif Sounds great,
I use this place:
http://www.flashkit.com/tutorials/

But google search should work too:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=F...G=Google+Search

If you would just like to view some flash templates or think about buying one or something I think that this place has it:
http://www.myflashfetish.com/website-templates.php

eh I think their only website templates though.
