Pluto, v.

to be demoted or lowered in rank.

And yeah, that definition doesn't really have anything to do with the topic.

In your opinion, how extensive is your vocabulary?

I'm very slow, and I forget a lot of meanings of words. My vocabulary is pretty average, yet they still call me Stephanerd. rolleyes.gif

Better than average I suppose. At least at school, people always ask me what some words I choose mean.

I guess anyone who spends any amount of time on an online forum would have an above average vocabulary. I think it's necessary.

Better than average...

I had to explain to people what frivolity meant. I was unimpressed.

And btw, I usually think my vocabulary sucks but occasionally I'll pull out a word without any idea where it came from and actually use it CORRECTLY. XD Seriously though, I guess my vocabulary is about average for someone of my age with my educational background.

I have a pretty good vocabulary. My problem is that I tend to be loquacious. ermm.gif

Also, I'm a Scrabble whore, big time. I made it a point to learn a lot of words at a very young age because I HATE losing a Scrabble match.

I read the dictionary. laugh.gif

I'm such a nerd. I have a pretty extensive vocabulary. Reading the dictionary doesn't really help. I just read it when I'm bored.

I don't have a big vocabulary because I find it hard to remember big words. I'm learning slowly but I have a bad short and long term memory.

I talk with a pretty average vocabulary but I can understand higher than average vocabulary.

This topic reminded me of that girl on MTVs Made who liked to use big vocabulary and wanted to become female MC.
