Okay, well do you know what the lasso tool is?
Open up both images and take the hearts and use the lasso around it to select the canvas (i forgot the shortcut to do this easier but it works) then once you have selected it press CTRL + C to copy it and then go over the napoleon picture and press CTRL + P to paste it and then use the move tool to move it and you can use the erase tool to erase the stuff you don't want off the heart image.. if you need to me to take screen shots I can.. What version of photoshop are you using as well? |

You can also use the magic wand (W) and select the hearts, hit V (move tool) and drag it onto the picture. Or you can use Quick Mask mode (located under the color swatches), and select out the hearts.

Never use the magic wand tool, it comes out looking really bad. Stick to either the pen tool or the lasso like holly suggested.
