high school sweet hearts? Options

is there anybody whose been going out w/ their significant other since highschool and is in the same college [or different]?

just curious.... wondering if its RARE to have a high school sweet-heart

nopee. I'm not even in High School yet.

But I do know this couple that have been going out since the last year of elementry [beginning of 6th grade] until NOW [which is the mid. of 8th grade]. Surprising, since the majority of teens their age can't even last a month. I bet they'll make it into AT LEAST their freshmen year.

Mmm.. my brother and his girlfriend. They're a year apart.
Started when he was a senior in high school and is now a sophomore in college.
They go to different colleges too.

i'm a freshman, and my boyfriend is a junior.

i don't think we're exactly going to get married or anything, but we've been going out for almost a month, and i hope it lasts a while.
i hate week-long relationships. my school's average relationship must be about three days. haha.
i know someone who started going out when they were thirteen, and dated for about seven years, then got married =] cute, huh?

Not me personally but a friend of mine (who's 18 now and first year college as well as her boyfriend) have been together since grade 8, their 5 year annivesary is coming up this month.

me and my s.o. met my first year of middle school and we are now both out of high school...have been for almost 2 years now and even though we've been on and off since we met...we're moving in together in 4 months and discussing marriage for next year

i dont think its high school sweethearts if you both werent in high school when you're together. correct me if i'm wrong, but i thought high school sweethearts were people that met and dated in high school and are still dating today, or even married.

Not quite in college or anything, but I don't even attend the same high school or college as the person I'm in a relationship with.

I think its pretty rare to find a high school sweetheart realtionship stay together throughout college and last a marriage. Most end of up getting married and break apart..

I've been dating my girlfriend in high school and once college came, we were changed people; it didn't really work out after than so we just split up. It's sad though, we don't even talk anymore, but I'm fine with it.

we started out in HS....... thats just where we are today

My old bible study teacher met his wife in kindergarden and told he loved her. Even if they were separated by thousands of miles later on, he wrote her a letter every week. Eventually, they met again and got married. Crazy

No, I haven't had a high school swetheart. I wish.

But I had a relationship that lasted 6months when I was in eighth grade last year. He was a sophmore. We broke it off because of distance and yet we're still one for the other. :]
Even though we're not together and I'm a freshman & he a junior, he & I still hope to be with one another one day.
Not officially a couple, but not single people either. Not sure if that would count as high school sweethearts in the next 3years haha. =P too bad he'll be in college. [btw: we don't go to the same high school either >.<;;]

My boyfriend and I are like...hardly even high school sweethearts. He's a senior and I'm a freshmen, yeah, go ahead and be like, "Like wow. He's too old for you." xD I get that a lot now.

Anyway...yeah. I'd love to stay with him, but I'm a very realistic person, so hopefully we can like...still be together once he's in college. I really like this one. He's a keeper. :]
