every time i sleep before i close my eyes
i'll begin to wish for a dream I once knew
even if I cant find it, I'll search forever
through out this life time or the next

I'll wake up ever morning with a heart so swollen
A deep scar within that time cannot heal
Will I find the courage to let everything go
and heal this heart of stone

I'll lie awake looking at the stars
wishing if my life could ever shine so bright
can I cry for a reason and smile for being happy
will a chance for me to live ever come

Can I ask a question without being asked
Can I answer truthfully without being told
Can I make decisions without having to regret
Can I live life based on these three things
