DIV help, images as links?

i don't know if there's something somewhere about this, but i looked and didn't find anything .. you know how you make a DIV layout, and you hover over an word you put in the image like on photoshop or whatnot and it's used as a link instead of creating the link with html? liiike you create the nav bar with words & all in photoshop, and when you hover over certain parts, like the word, it acts as a link? i hope that's not confusing.. i've seen it, i just don't know how to do it..

You need to image map or image slice. You can do that with imageready or cutemap . There are other programs too.

i don't really know what those are .. ha uhh so basically, it's not html that does it?

It is but you have to image map or slice to get the html code for it. Do you have imageready? If so go to http://good-tutorials.com or google and search image map . That will teach you how to image map. Then when you image map with imageready it generates the code you need.
