set up? you know, like one of your friends just think this guy or girl is really good for you. well, for valentines that's what's going down with me. it's been 5 months since i dated someone, so i'm not gonna lie that totally i'm excited. maybe because i'm desperate? i don't care, don't make fun of me. but i'm also nervous; all i know about this guy is his name's aaron & he's puerto rican/black/something else. i've heard his voice on the phone too. it's pretty cute. anyway, anyone mind sharing their stories with me? & do these sort of things ever actually work out?

Yeah, once and only once. I went to youth group or something with my bestie at her boy's church, and there was a guy there who I thought was kind of cute. He asked about me, and we were set up on a date the following weekend. He turned out to be a complete creep. I hope yours is better than mine!

hmm happened to me once.. and I was nervous because I knew like nothing about the dude.. but it only lasted for like 2 weeks.. He was decent looking and all... but we ended up being completely different..I couldnt stand his personality. Hopefully it'll be different for you. The friend that set us up wasn't a very "close" friend.. If a close friend is setting you up it'll probably work out better since they'd know what you're into and stuff.

Yeah I have, and I ended up dating the girl for nine to twelve months. She broke up with me, and got pregnant with some black dude... I'm so happy I didn't get her pregnant. All we did was silently fight. xD
