I just got a new laptop and was trying to get on my FTP, but smartFTP keeps saying:
An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine I tried on IE and FireFTP, too, and they both just keep saying that my server timed out. I went to the smartFTP website and did what they told me to do (change my settings, check for port 21, check firewall, etc) and it still wont work. This never happened to me on my old computer. =[ Help? |

I always have to turn off my firewall when using FTPs. I guess if you haven't tried it, try turning off your firewall.

I HAVE tried turning my firewall off.
But this morning... it just suddenly started working again. I didn't do anything, so I'm not sure what happened. Hmm... maybe it had something to do with my connection which tends to get kinda sketchy at time. |
