So do any of you hold a post in your school's Student Association/Union/Society/whatever?
Or have you run for it before?

Share your experience! :)

I'll tell you guys mine after I see replies, haha. :P

I haven't, but our ASB elections can get pretty dramatic. It can get to be an all-out war for the position. ermm.gif

Next year, I'll be running for Commissioner of Clubs. That position doesn't have a history of the kind of cut-throat elections for some of the others. But some good things do come out of the elections; kids get really really creative for their advertising techniques. Aside from absolutely gorgeous posters, someone gave out these awesome bright green pins that I wore around school.

I suppose all schools have their ASB and such and the elections for mine are like around late September or something? It doesn't get too dramatic but it's a pretty big thing and that's like, all people talk about for a couple days. I was thinking of running for my class but missed the deadline to get signatures, so probably next year.

I have never been one. I don't think I am a good candidate because I am quite indecisive and shy...
