Hahaha, I just found out that some girl made a fake MySpace of me saying that I date her. She even made "me" comment her and say I loved her and stuff. She even put my favorite band in the background. Too bad she misspelled my name. This kind of makes me worry who else is using my pictures. It's actually flattering... in a scary/stalkerish kind of way.

Has anything like this even happened to you guys? Like identity theft, or someone using there pictures saying it's them?

I think a while ago Kathleen made a topic asking if you have ever had a fake profile thats funny though. Some black chick on myspace has some of my silhoutte pictures claiming their here for the past few months. I didn't bother to mess with it though.

its happend to me before. except SHE went the extra mile and actualy took a picture of her face and pasted it into a photo of my and my ex-boyfriend. it was actualy kinda convincing as he had very long hair the part that gave it away was his legs [very hairy] and scummy shoes. but what can i say i am the ladies....lady?

Then blocked me.

This has never happened to me. I sorta did this to a girl before, but I never made a MySpace. Just AIM. I knew that she liked this guy and she always lied to my face. And I even told her how much I hated liars. It was mean but I proved my point after the whole thing ended so I had proof.

Is there any way to find out if someone is?

there is. i have a tracker on every image on my myspace. even my quizilla results images.
and then when someone trys to right click it or hot link it i get a email and it asks me if i would like to release it to that IP. i say yes or no and thats the end of that.

the only issue with that program i have is that sometimes people slip through especialy when people have stolen my pics and put them up on forums.

I can't say it's happened to me but it's happened to my sister on multiple ocassions.. on facebook and myspace. She had these model shots of her and somebody "claimed" the pictures were of them.. it's pathetic(sp?) if u think ab it
