Lets see: new movies
Little Miss Sunshine, Devil wears Prada, Invincible, Loves Abiding Joy, etc. Those are just new movies out right now of course. I thought Little Miss Sunshine was cute and good. |

Little Miss Sunshine, Science of Sleep, and the like?
Harry Potter bores me. Action films have to have some deep meaning to them if I would watch them. Foreign films are a plus, unless they're boring. ..Anything like that? |

^ OH REALLY?!?!?!?
Hmm. I'll have to see Donnie Darko and then argue with that. Yes, I am one of the few out there who haven't experienced the awesomeness that is Donnie Darko. Or at least, that's what my friend told me (in a slightly horrified tone?) I'll get around to it...someday...and then get back to you on that. Anyway...other movies to recommend?...uh...well I'm not sure what kind of movies you like but I liked Igby Goes Down, Amélie, and Ghost World. Among others. *smiles apologetically* |

DEFINATELY worth catching! I feel bad for thora birch... she had The HOle as a vehicle for her career, and it ended up launching keira knightley instead, and Ghost World helped Scarlett Johannsen more than her... it's a harsh world. |

Yeah, Thora Birch was great in Ghost World! She OWNED that movie. But lo and behold, Scarlett is now the bigger star...I think that Lost In Translation had a lot to do with it, even though it came out a couple of years later. I remember Thora Birch when she was in Now and Then (great movie), only 13 years old, and then American Beauty (16), which I think should have propelled her forward...I guess that's another recommendation? |

If you're looking for some action, with a little humor & gore in it, I'd suggest you watch Kill Bill Vol. 1 Those had some great moments in it =D
