How do you make your own font? What programs do you need?
Any help would be great. Thanks

They're not programs. The first is a tutorial (which requires somewhat professional software), and the second doesn't seem to work.

That one has a free trial, but is still cheaper than Macromedia's font creation software.

That is a web-based pixel font maker, which you might find useful.

Hidden program in Windows that allows you to do the same things. Although, not everyone has that.

And if you're looking for fonts ...

So I decided to try out Fontlab- it works well, but when I made my font (I drew it & scanned it) the letter spacing was very large. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

hm, I've never had that problem before.
fontlab's web site has a technical support area.
