Sorry, another question i've been wondering about. I've noticed some signature images on here aren't exactly square, they have different edges, and they would go remain that shape on any color background. How would I accomplish that? I've been looking for ages, and I dunno the exact term for such a thing. For example, say I had an orange circle I wanted to post on a purple webpage. How would I get the image to be just a circle that I could portably post onto the purple webpage (without having to create it as a purple square with an orange circle on it)?

I hope this person doesn't mind me using their signature image...

Well to make rounded edges you can follow these:

I don't get what you meant about the webpage..

I dunno... I think i'm missing something... I'm using Jasc Paint Shop Pro, dunno if that'd effect it. When I try to save the image that has rounded edges, it says that the image will be limited to a merged image, which turns it into a regular square. I do appreciate the help though... Maybe I should try a different program?
Also, I don't think (could be wrong) I want to save it as a .psp image. I want it to be portable to be able to keep it's shape (not square) on whichever background I decide to put it on, without the image having to have the same colored edges as the background... Hope that makes sense... :)

Make sure that the outside of the edges are transparent, and then go to export -> png optimizer -> transparency, and make sure that the box that says, "existing image or layer transparency" is checked.
