uh no if my teacher ever hit me i'd sue them. although my old math teacher did throw chalk board erasers but it would never hit me and he'd throw a rubber chicken for doing stupid mistakes.

she was? you mean your teacher would hit you hard? like a hit hit or kidding? still...least teachers around here aren't allowed to even touch students. there's laws. and if a teacher does hit you even once its abuse.

Well, this math teacher I had for one year used to throw those KOOSH balls at kids when they would misbehave or get an easy question wrong.
Ah, the koosh balls were amazingg.
I wish I still had one at home. laugh.gif

Well, if they physically hurt you they can lose their job and have to pay... at least where I live. When I was younger and went to a private my teachers would hit you. They were mean.

In the Philippines, yeah. When I was little, the nuns would smack my hands because my writing was hella sloppy. mellow.gif

Not here, though. My old science teacher used to throw his blow-up globe at the kids who weren't paying attention. My geometry teacher does that, too.

Corporal punishment is not allowed in my school disctrict. I was surprised to find out, that, that it's still allowed in many parts of the state.

But actually, yes, I'm pretty sure I have been hit by a few plenty of times before, just not in a bad way. So I think I actually mean no.

Next time she does that, go to the office & report her. There's no reason for someone to do that, unless you're violently threating other students.

But no, I've never been hit by a teacher. Maybe if it was like a pat on the arm & they were like "Oh, don't say that!"

Yeah, if you go to a private school they can hit you because of the stupid law. The law is totally overrated rolleyes.gif

Haha, what's up with the pervert teachers.. Seriously. I had this really old guy Freshmen year and he was retiring and he came up behind me and put his hands on my shoulders. I alsmost got suspended because I pushed him away and told him to never touch me against and I called him an old pervert.

Maggie, I honestly never thought it was such a big deal that I was going to report to the administrator. _unsure.gif I did tell my mom, she got extremely pissed off, and was going to report to the administration office and sue/fire her. My mom just let it go and said if it happens again, I have to tell her and she'll "handle" it. whistling.gif

If a teacher ever hit me in a provoking way, I would defend myself. That means I'd probably end up elbowing the teacher in the face, kneeing the stomach, punching the jaw or side-kicking the kneecap depending on how badly the teacher is threatening me. Yay for self-defense!

But the most a teacher has ever done that I've seen is biting a kid in class.

My P.E. teacher hits me. It hurts. sad.gif A long time ago, every Wednesday, there would be a teacher who hit kids every Wednesday afterschool if they got in trouble. Apparently tons of people went home crying. shrug.gif

Heh, well I brought an old yearbook to school one day, and was looking at it during class. My teacher took it up, and I told my buff guy friend to go get it for me from his desk. When he went up there, the teacher grabbed the yearbook and held onto it as my friend attempted to get it out of his grasp. In the moment, my teacher bit my friend's arm, so my friend yelled at let go. But right after that, he managed to grab the yearbook and give it back to me.
