You can't be "kind of" Christian. You're either on one side of the rope or you're not at all.

Uhh, yeah. But like Linda, I'm not religious at all. I go to temples once in a while when I need to.

See, here's what I'm gonna do; I'm gonna read up on how to be a buddhist and I'm gonna pray to Buddha to reincarnate me when I kill myself to be cool as f**k like you.

Sounds agnostic to me. wink.gif

I was Zen Buddhist for a brief while but settled back into agnosticism.

I'm buddhist. _smile.gif but I also believe in god as well. I don't see buddhism as a religion, just more of a way of living life.

Well, not all Asians are Buddhist, right? wink.gif No offense, just a little side note.

I'm not buddhist myself, but I've always wanted to go into a temple, apparently it's quite interesting.

I can love the adherents of other religions, but I can't say I love all religions. Especially Scientology (though I don't consider it a religion).

How can you love something that you think is false?

I agree. I'm Christian, but I think Buddhists have the right morals. My mom's parents were Buddhist.

Ohh, you should go! They really are interesting. I went to many in China. Some I visited had many old artifacts and documents from many years ago. If you're into history, you should go. But really, it's fascinating for anyone. happy.gif

What do the people who believe in scientology believe in? Evolution instead of creation?

Not quite.

They believe that the dark lord Xenu brought the thetans from outerspace in spaceships that looked like Douglas airplanes, then froze their souls, put them on a volcanos and used nukes to bomb them. The souls escaped, but he used his soul catchers to keep them from going back to their home planets and then now we humans are those souls (I wish I was making this up).

They're not allowed to make noise while giving birth. They're not allowed to use painkillers. They need to pay money to "advance" in that religion. People who quit get threatened, and there have been deaths linked to scientology.

That's it more or less. Go read about it on wikipedia or something.

I was born a Buddhist, but I gave up my Buddhist ways, since I'm not against violence.
