yeah, so i made this like a few months ago. i finally finished it, though. i know the ground & grass don't match the realistic feel of it, but i still like it either way _smile.gif

anyways, i made this with painter essentials 2 and my wacom graphic tablet.

I like the colors you used for the waterfall a lot. The grass seems so unrealistic though. Overall, nice job stephanie. :)

The waterfall looks really good! =)

Maybe if you smudged the grass more and gave it more depth, it would look more realistic. Try using a darker shade of green to shade around the edges of the grass blades. The place you shade it depends on where your light source is coming from.

Yeah, I know the grass isn't realistic.
I could've used tubes for that, but I didn't want to.
Man, what I would do for some talent, lol.

Thanks, everybody _smile.gif

It's nice, simplistic. Reminiscent of asian artwork, almost.

You guys all have Wacom tablets. fallen.gif

So you know about the grass, and the water is very nice. You really gave the water a soft feel where it is white. Nice job. :) Practice and I think you'll get better at painting.
