Business Related 3 column skin |

I am new to all this and using Blogger I need to find a simple three-column design for a business Blog. I have a fair knowledge of HTML and could tweak/change etc.
Also, just to experiment, I tried to copy and paste some of the codes from this website into my test blog (in Blogger, using Blogger templates) and getting a continuous error messages from Blogger saying Your template could not be parsed as it is not well-formed. Please make sure all XML elements are closed properly. XML error message: The element type "style" must be terminated by the matching end-tag "". What's that all about?
